Using network settlement for production orders

Hello Gurus:

I know this is project systems, however I would like to configure the system to settle production orders to a network for project stock. Is there anyone that can give me the steps? System I am working with is ECC 6.0. thanks in advance and of course will reward points for answers...

Hello,

You can settle the production order to network following the below steps:

1. Create a settlement profile that allows settlement to network

2. Create an allocation structure

3. If using PA, create a PA transfer structure

4. Use the settlement profile created in step 1 in production order

5. Assign the network number to the order to which you want to settle the order

You have to take care of cost element groups, settlement cost elements for the above.

You can also consider the option of settling the order to WBS rather than network.
