Copy a standard print program

Hi all

could you plz tell me how to copy a standard print pro.

after i copy the medruck(sapfm06p) its displaying some syntax errors regarding includes.

plz tell me how to copy the includes?is it compulsary?

before doing and after doing any modifications for the standard one where we hav to see the print preview?

plz assist me

i need it very urgent.

create copy in the transaction SE38...

select includes from the popup....

give a suitable 'Z' names to all the includes...

and after copying, don't forget to activate includes as well as the main program.

It is not mandatory to copy the includes. You can use the standard includes also.

But in that case if you want to make any changes in the include, you have to copy it into a 'Z' include.

You want to see the print preview for a Purchase order form?? right??

You have to first change the print program name in the customizing for PO.

after that you can go in the PO and see the print preview...

If not clear, let me know... I'll explain in detail....

OK... so start with the copying of the standard print program::

Go in SE38--> Enter program name as sapfm06p...

Click "copy button"...

It will ask for a new name for the program, give a suitable name

A popup will appear asking you to copy the other objects like documentation, includes etc.... click all check boxex and click OK.

Another Popup will come asking you to give a suitable 'Z' name to all the includes you want to copy..

Give a suitable 'Z' name to all the includes....

Now your program is copied... Go in the program and activate.. activate all includes also. Now make changes whereever you want in the copied program..

This new program is ready for the use...

Now you have to make changes in the customization..

Go in T-code: NACE...

Select application "EF"...

Click "output types"

If you have any "Z" output type associated, you can select otherwise select "NEU".

Double click "processing routines" on the left of your screen...

Now you can give your program name instead of the standard program for "print output"..

Now everything is changed..

Go in t-Code ME23N..

select your purchase order...

click "print preview" on the first screen..

You will be able to see your changes..

when i am displaying the same in me23n

it is giving some message like no messages found

could you please tell me some more things

do we have to do any configuration apart from nace i.e. in me23n like?

how to generate and send the spool requests?

from where we have to give the print?

wud u plz tell me the scenario of this configuration

you have to create a message in me23n first before seeing print preview....

Go in ME22N--> select your purchase order --> click "mesage" button just near to "print preview" button....

now create a message using output type "NEU" or any 'Z' output type for which the program you defined earlier in NACE...

It should have a yellow light in the status..

Now save it and go back to me23n and click print preview.. you will see the print preview...

While coping the program .. U'll get a popup asking for coping other

attributes as ..

Hi

when you copy a standard program in se38 use the button next to delete i.e copy button and once you give target program name you will get a pop up. in the popup you can choose the check box Includes it will take care and you only need to give the z names.
