Common Division/ Common Distribution Channal.

Hi Friends

I would like to upload material master one material can be service to different Distribution Channel.But i would like to upload the data by LSMW but at a time we can upload one distibution channal only. Waht are the settings need to be done in SPRO.for playing different Distribution Channel.Please guide.

Hi

You can use common dist channel for material master..

Menu path :

IMG --> SD --> Master data --> Define common distribution channel.

IMG --> SD --> Master data --> Define common division

Create a material/customer for one distribution channel/division say 10 and assign this as common distribution chn/Division for others like

1000 10 10

1000 20 10

1000 30 10

Please note that incase if you assigned here. you cannot create material/Customer for the dist chns which is assigned to common dist channel.

also you can set common dist chn/Div for pricing conditions also in the same transaction.

Hiii,

If you use a BDC for uploading data,you can extend the material to several distribution channels simultaneously.

dear Udaykumar,

You need to do setting for Common Dist. Channel and Division

Define Common Distribution Channels -->Sales and Distribution --> Master Data --> Define Common Distribution Channels

Define Common Divisions -->Sales and Distribution --> Master Data --> Define Common Divisions

then you can upload the data by LSMW forone distibution channal but you can use it for other division also
