HI friends please help me on the below issue. when i logon to my SAP XI GUI and when i click on the transaction code sxmb_ifr, then my default browser is not opening automatically. My O/S is linux.and i already installed java web start also.please send me any document regarding this issue.
In the Linux also we have hosts file there u have to give ur server i.p and the gateway host name. for
ex : 123.1233.2.123 pi76.like that u have to give.

--Installed JWS, set the envinorment varibale
--there should be host file in LINUX, did u do that?
SXMB_IFr will open the IE by taking the information from Exchange profile like host name:Java port...so on...
but for this host file like what we have in windws should be updated. i dnt know the whats the path in linux..pls confirm these

Hi,
Have u added the Hostname of the XI in the following path
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
open hosts file with notepad and add the ip address hostname of XI
Ex: 10.2.1.122 XIServer

Hi,
Can you check whether a proper HTTP connection exists from your system to the XI system.
Check this in SM59.
Another way would be to launch the SPROXY and click on the button exchange infrastuctre
