How to deploy SDA file?

Hi Gurus,

How will you deploy the SDA file in NWDS......

I have a requirement where I need to deploy SapdictionayTypesRuntime.sda ....so that message get displaying in german will turn to english.....

Please tell me the steps to acheive this ?

You can deploy the sda using NWA too. From Mobile Archive Converter -> Choose SDA/SCA Deployment ->Put the SDM password (usually j2ee_admin) -> Click Next-> Select the SDA/SCA to be deployed from your Hard Disk -> Click Next or you can add more SDAs/SCAs for deployment. Hi,

If you are using NW version < 7.1

Log on to the remote server (host):

Run the remote GUI for the SDM (software deployment manager)

<drive>:\usr\sap\<host>\<instance>\SDM\program --> remotegui.bat

Using this SDM interface you will be able to deploy the SDAs.

Log on using SDM password. Go to deployment Tab -> click on '+' icon (Add SDAs for Deployment), then next and deploy.

Hi,

You can also deploy this file from NWDS.

1. Create an empty project in NWDS File->New->Project->Simple (e.g test_project)

2. Copy your SDA file to this project root folder with your OS explorer

3. Select your project with a prespective in which you can see "package explorer" or "navigator" (e.g java perspective)

4. Context menu in your SDA and select Deploy
