Integrating mainframes and Xi .

Hello everyone,

I have a doubt that how can we integrate Xi and Mainframes ? What is the procedure to fetch data from Mainframes ? Whats the process involved if I am picking up the data from cobol language and what would be the data format ? Please correct me if my question is wrong at any point.

It has made very easy to understand the scenario by looking in to the blog, by Dmitri, which you have posted. I thank you very much for that. It confirms the protocol used are SOAP and WSDL . I am trying to follow the procedure at both ends now. Thanks again sheshagiri.

As far as i know, Mainframes reads the files either in dat or txt files, usually they read it from the shared directory......

i am not sure how to perform the webservice in that...letc c what others have to relpy.
