Hello

probably a silly question, but in analyzing disks on OS06, I find names like ASP01D01, ASP01D02 ...

How do they relate to Disk unit nrs in WRKDSKSTS ?

Hi,

ASP01D01 -> refer to unit 1

ASP01D02 -> refer to unit 2

and so on

in OS06 or st06 -> Goto-> Current Data -> Snapshot -> Disk detail display current usage of the hard disks

but data is depend on collector time interval.

while The Work with Disk Status (WRKDSKSTS) command allows you to display and work with performance and status information for the disk units on the system. you can get data by pressing F5(refresh)

regards,

kaushal

Hello

Yes, life can be simple !

I was mislead by the fact that our disknrs are 3

digits , while in OS06 only 2 digits are shown

so disk 68 in OS06 actually refers to disk unit 268 on OS400
