Hi friends,
what is aHeader condition types??
when we are using this??
Is it mandatory for all pricing procedure???
thanks
manu
Hi Manu,
Header condition means it applicale to the total document not per the item specific
1.Header conditions are HA00(% discount),HB00(Discount value),HD00(Frieght) and HM00 (Order value).
2.We can use these header conditions for BOM materials.when we give the group discount for all the sub items.
3.These are not mandatory for all the pricing procedure , these will be used based on the scenerio.
I hope it will help you

Hi Manu,
Header conditions are those conditions which are applicable for entire sales documents.
For Example: HD00, HB00, HA00 ..............
If we want a certain condition to be applicale for the entire sales document, we use these header conditions.
For example. Customer has order for a value of $ 500 and we want to give a discount of 10 % on the entire document value, it is here the header conditions comes into picture.
In the sales document, goto header details and Conditions tab page, here you HA00 as the conditon type and enter 10 % in the Rate column and press on enter. After that you have press on Activate Button for the discount condition to be reflected on the sales document.
Also for Header Conditions, you can not maintain Condition records as there is no access sequnce maintained.

Manu
to explain you Header condition
if the discount is applicable at Header level
say Rs 100 discount , irrespective of the number of item in your order.
Similarly , if you take frieght as 100 for full shipment ,if we are using Header freight
if we are using Item level freight condition , then Rs 10 per material
In header we get total of all the item frieghts.

Header condition type means, this condition type is valid only for header pricing. You can not apply or enter any value especially for order lines.
It may not be mandatory, it's up to your requirements.
You may use header conditions if you want to effect all document lines.
