Hi All
At the time of creating JCO destinations we have to
specify connection data.
Like General Data
J2EE Cluster
*Destination type:* here for Dictionary meta data
why should we have to choose Connection type as Load-balanced connection...
Similarly at the time of defining Message Server why should we have to define Logon Group and what is Use SAP router and what is the use of this Use SAP router and SAP router string.
At the time of Defining Security Details, why should we have to chose authenticatio method as User/Password only for meta data connection.
And Finally what is Application Server and Message Server in this Scenario.
Regards
DS.
hi
In Load Balance Connection, multiple clients are used in an environment in order to attain the work balancing.
We need to specify the username and password since its essential for establishing connection to the backend systems. Meta data is otherwise called the data about data; and hence it mush have the value parameters for the connection.
Application server is the one that acts as the backend system and facilitates the transactions with the DB (Usually R3)
The Message server is used for the message synchronization in the J2EE server environment, that synchronizes the message passing between the J2ee engine and the clients in the environment.
i think in a single server mechanism; the j2ee server itself acts as the message server.
