Hello Sanjeeva,

The location of the logs for error (if any) for the transports are stored at the OS level in the path:

USR/SAP/TRANS/LOG

Under the LOG folder, the files SLOGXXXX.<SID> (where the XXXX represents number), ALOGXXXX.<SID>(Where XXXX represent number in request) conatin the details about each transport request.

While SLOG contains an overview of the transport return codes and details, ALOG contains details about each import step in the transport request. A request may have upto 8 import steps (these import steps are handled by the RDD* jobs) and can be seen in the table TRJOB (if the import request ends in error).

The logs of SCC8 (export client) and SCC7 (import client), SCC9 remote client copy can also be seen in the LOG folder.

Regards,

Prashant
