XD01 Customer Creation issue

Former Member

Hello,

I got an error when creating customer with sales area assigned. The error is read as follows:

*************************************************************************************************************************

Sales area SSVV ZH 20 is not defined for customers

Message no. F2644

Diagnosis

The sales area specified has either not been defined (i.e. there is no entry in table TVTA) or it refers to another sales area for customers (customer division/customer distribution channel in the TVTA detail screen). This means that the customer master data of the sales area entered correspond to the data in the reference sales area and customer master data only needs to be maintained for this reference sales area.

Procedure

You can display the relevant and therefore valid sales areas for customers by selecting "Extras" -> "Sales areas" -> "All areas".

*************************************************************************************************************************

I have defined sales org , dist channel and division.

Can some one help me. Any help will be appreciated and duly rewarded.

Regards,

Sriram

Go to

SPRO>SD>MASTER DATA> DEFINE COMMON DISTRBN CHNL

CLICK ON POSITION GIVE UR SALES ORGN & ASSIGN COMMON DISTRBN CHL..

SAVE & COMEBACK..

THEN CLICK ON ASSIGN COMMON DIVISION.

DO THE SAME PROCESS FOR UR SO ASSIGN COMMON DIVISION..

Hi Sriram,

Please ensure you are not using common division functionality in SPRO - SD - MASTER DATA - COMMON DIVISIONS.

Here division in column DivCus should be 20 against your sales org SSVV.

Try making it 20 if it is something else and try again.

I am sure this should help you.

If it does dont forget to reward points for contribution.

Ravi

Hi,

pl check if the sales area is setup or not in enterprise structure. else see if you are trying to do a reference customer creation from another sales area which is not mapped as common distributin channel or common divsions (VOR1/VOR2)
