LIS- updating Asynchronous updating to my info structure

Hi SAP Guru's

I have created a new sales information struction S556 copying from S001. and i added one more characteristics material group. i completed all updates groups. My problem is when i am trying to update with period as MONTH and update option of 'ASYNCHRONOUS UPDATING(2). i can able to do month but asynchronous updating is in grey. which i cannot update . would you please tell how to update asynchronouse updating .

Hi,

Try to generate first in MC25 before you proceed to Updating OMO1 so could change to asynchronous updating.

hello, friend.

did you mean that in OMO1 when you double clicked the update the fields are greyed out? if yes, this could mean...

1. you do not have authorization

2. you are working in the PROD environment (you should go to DEV for this and transport the settings)

seems to be an authrization issue. u may dispaly authorizations but doen have change authorizations...so why dont u check with some other user ID (may be u can use ur Team lead user id ) to check the same authorizations.
