SALES AREA ASSIGNMENT TO SALES DOC.

hi,

while assign sales area to ordeer types And click to new session system showing error that define 1000/10/00 first as a general sales area.and system showing display .So how I can over come this issue.

Step 1: Sales Document Type

IMG > Sales and Distribution > Sales > Sales Documents >

Sales Document Header:

1. Sales Document Type:The sales document types represent the different business transactions, such as Inquiry, Quotation, Sales Order, etc. To create new sales order type, always copy as with reference to similar sales order. If possible use standard sales order.

2. Define Number Ranges For Sales Documents: Maintain number range with discussion with core team.

3. Assign Sales Area To Sales Document Types:

A. Combine sales organizations / Combine distribution channels / Combine divisions: Ensure to maintain these, else Sales Order creation will give error.

B. Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas: Assign only required Sales Order Types to required Sales Area. This will minimize selection of Sales Order Type as per sales area.

hello, friend.

check if you have done VOR1 and VOR2. then go to IMG > SD > Sales > Sales Documents > Sales Document Headers > Assign Sales docs to permitted sales area. then make the settings in 'Combine sales orgs', 'Combine distribution channels' and 'Combine divisions'.

Dear Rajendra

First go to OVX5, create sales organization and assign the sales organization to company code in OVX3.

Create Distribution Channel and assign the same to sales organization in OVX6

Create Division in OVXB and assign the same to Sales Org in OVXA

Now go to OVAZ and assign the above sales areas.

Dear Rajendra,

First you do the combine sales organisations , combine distribution channels and combine divisions steps in the same screen before going to step assign sales order types permitted for sales areas.

Now you try with the last step assign sales order types permitted for sales areas. system will accept.

Spro>Enterprise structure>asssignment>Sales & distribution>Set up sales area.

there give ur SO, Distr chl & Division & save.

Come back & do other assignment like that..

hi,

Firest you assign sales org to Sales Doc typ ,,,Dis to Sales DOc type and Div to Sales Doc type...

The come to Final,,,,,assin sales area to Sales Document types...

It may not give error....hope you do in thios way....
