Hi All,
I tried installing Creme 327a & MI25Tom in PDA with windows mobile 5 in several devices, its strange that I could not install it on one of the new devices.
I copied both of the files into My documents of the PDA.
I ran Creme cab file it said suuccessfully installed, I restarted the device.
I didnt find any popup saying creaming is starting, how ever I clicked on the MI25Tom cab file to install, it says installation Unsuccessful.
My assumption is that may be after booting the device creame is not starting up due to which MI25tom istallation is unsuccessful. May MI25Tom installtion requires Creme to be running prior to this.
Can some body help me insuggesting where I was wrong & how to fix this problem
Thanks in advance,
Sai Krishna. K
Hi All,
The problem is solved.
Some how the MI25Tom cab file I was using is corrupted.
We replaced it with other cab of same version it worked fine.
Thank you all for immediate replies.

Hi,
could you tell us the System version of the new device?

Hi Sai
Once Creme is installed, it will not start. Only after successful installation of MI Client will the Creme start(MI Client starts Creme JVM). And also it is not required for the Creme to be running when MI is installed. I am confused why MI fails to install. Can you please make sure there is no MI installed prior to this installation and also make sure the device is Windows Mobile device and not CE or CE.NET
Best Regards
Sivakumar
