Netweaver Business Client - Branding?

Hello,

We have recently implemented Netweaver Business Client to work with a Best Practices baseline solution on an ECC 6.0 platform.

Netweaver Business Client (NWBC) works great so far, however I would like to know if it’s possible to edit interface icon which looks like a building icon located in the top left hand corner and replace it with say another companies logo. There are references to a branding_role, branding_page, branding_url in the NWBC setup, but it doesn’t make any sense to me. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Can you change the logo/icons in NWBC? Do I have to use an editiing tool?

Also, does anyone know if there is any good step-by-step documention that I can use for reference to setup NWBC as I did not setup this part of the project. I have a pdf file from the marketplace called nwbc12en.pdf, but it's not very specific.

Yes we did figure out how to set branding.

Open up the NWBC.ini file and add the following

BRANDING_PAGE=http://www.<webaddressyouwouldlikeinthebackground>

This does not change the canvas, but allow you to set a web page/picture in the background.

Also we have a fully functional NWBC setup working on our demo system.

HI all,

I am facing problem with configuration of NWBC client, referring the sap help link which is used for the config and NWBC role defination.

While defining the role for NWBC in the backend system we have to associate the cockpit with the role in PFCG. However this is defined under the SAP Internal tab which I could not see in my system. Is there any way this "SAP Internal" tab cab be viewed in the PFCG or do I have to apply any support package/ enhancement. I am configuring the TMS system ( ABAP SP15).

Moreover I could not see any NWBC_COnfig table in the backend. I really think something is missing or need to activate.

Any help is greatly Appreciated.

Ray, I can not implemented the netweaver business client, because I had some problems with the roles....and I can not resolve yet the issue.

very sad....

But I can help you with the url to the document with the steps to install the NWBC ( not clear for me in some parts)

I just logged onto service.sap.com, entered our OSSID, and ran a search in installations and upgrades for "Netweaver Business Client" and it came up with version 7.10
