Has anybody done native IDOC to XML conversion using ABAP mapping. Right now we are doing this using report program RSEINB00.

Have you tried that FM IDOCS_OUTPUT_IN_XML_FORMAT?

In this thread , they have used
CL_ABAP_CONV_IN_CE in order to transform into String, then split into records of internal table for call the FM IDX_IDOC_TO_XML.
Can anyone shed more light on this?
