Copy Message Mapping From 1 system to another

Hi all,

I had 2 XI systems.

I need to copy mesage Mappings from sandbox to Development.

I cannot Export since there is no export mechanism for Sandbox to Development.

Can any one say a solution to copy message mapping from 1 system to another.

Sri,

It's not advisable to do this. You need to re-define it. But for your knowledge purpose,

In the Graphical editor of Sandbox system, CTRLSHIFTRight Click , select Tools --- Export Tools --- Export.

It will give u an .mte file. Now go to your other xi box, After selecting Source and target messages, now

CTRLSHIFTRight Click , select Tools --- Export Tools --- Import.

Please make a note, SAP doesn't provide any documents to do this! Hence it's avoidable to do it.

Hi,

You can transport it using file transport mechanism. Graphical mapping is not portable there is one unoficial feature to export it but import from it doesn't work.
