Gantt businessgraphic shows no bars

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to implement a Gantt chart via the businessgraphic ui element. After struggling with the Chart designer the chart itself is looking okay but the Timevalues are only shown as points and not as a bar.

If I define 2 timevalues: "20020101" and "20021231"

There is only one point shown in the middle of the year 2002.

How can I get a bar starting at the first day of 2002 and ending at the last day of 2002?

Any hint is appreciated!

Hi,

Back to the chart designer To show a coloured range in timevalues you need to do point customization.

Open the chart designer and navigate to Points and add all the different points that you have by choosing "Add Point" from the context menu.

For each point that you define you will have point customizing. Expand "Area Properties" and set the "Color" property to the RGB of your choice.

That should do it.

thanks for your reply, but this property is set to a correct value.

The point shown in the graphic has exactly this specified colour.

But for me only points and no ranges are shown...

Hi,

if you see a point instead of a rectangle this sounds like having wrong customizing settings!

In the customizing settings of your series/points: the marker style must be set to None if you want to see a rectangle instead of a centered marker symbol.

thanks for replying.

I already tested this, without success.

If I set the marker shape to none the marker is not shown at all.

So I see only the label on the point but no rectangle showing a time period.

Are there additional settings I have to make?

finally it was solved the way Kai said.

Who have to set the marker style to none for the defined point AND the series obejct.
