Hi
when we can go for ABAP mapping.. i mean.. normmaly for an a simple mapping we will go for Message mapping.. then.. in which scneraio we will go for ABAP mapping.. please give me a simple basic example for abap mapping.. and for that what is the procedure..

Hello,
there is no special reason for use ABAP mapping.
You can use it if you like to write ABAP progams and don't like using JAVA, XSLT or the message mapping.

ABAP mapping is used while dealing with the mapping logics to be incorporated in R/3. That will leverage to use the R/3 features in XI.
