Duplicating material document in IQ03

Hi Sap Gurus,

Could any one help me on this issue,

In IQ03 (serial number history) same material document is repeated 2 times. this creates problem while processing scrap

IS there any way i can set it normal.

run IQ09 for you material and define display variant - open max hidden fields like "Created on", "Changed on",....

try to analyse/compare duplicates

Can you tell me what is the movement type of the material doucment it is repeating in the IQ03.

The movement type is 955.

It is not a standard SAP mvt type. can I know it is copy of what movement type or what is the function of this mvt type.

Actualy the movement type is used for the process of scrap to block the scrap material.

I am not sure from where its been copied from.

Ok thanks for the information

now can you tell me what exactly problem you are facing if you are running any z report and this informatoin is picked up twice you can ignore it by "H" & "S" indecator. if you are having any other problem please let me know

Hi mahesh,

I am using the H indicator right now in IQ03.

My requirement is that the duplication material type shouldnt come in the IQ03. With the H indicator 2 material documents are generated with the mvt type 955. I want with 1 transaction only 1 material dcument to generate.
