Dear gurus

i created one sales order in that i have forgoten to give storage location manually.

i saved it and i am trying to deliver the goods i found storage

location not there in the delivery document?

i was trying to enter storage location it was saying

"MATERIAL 100(Material no.) is not defined for sales from india"

What should i do for this?

how automatically determine storage location in to sales order

Dear durga prasad

Go to VA02, give the sale order reference and execute. On the said line item, give the storage location manually and save.

Now you try to create delivery so that you wont face any problem.

Yes u can enter the storage location..u have to enter the storage location in picking tab in Vl01N.

Dear Durga,

For determining the storage location in delivery it will determine if u have been made some settings in system in logisics execution. plz find below path to determine the storage location in delivery.

SPRO>LOGISTICS EXECUTION>SHIPPING>PICKING>DETERMINE PICKING LOCATION-->Define Rules for Picking Location Determination.

Here you have to assign the MALA rule to your delivery type.

Then You will get the storage location in delivery automatically even idf u have not been mauintsained in the sales order.

The MALA rule defines based on the storage conditions from the material master+ dellivery plant from the item+ shipping point form the delivery.

Assign rule as MALA to ur delivery type..

This will determine stol loc automatically..

Go to TC va02(change SO)..Give ur order no & Enter the storage location n save..try to do the delivery again..
