Hi all,

I have a question about resource planning in cProjects with RPA+WFD.

1. cProjects 4.0 run on CRM 5.0. We use SAP HR and transfer master data from there.

2. I have a Project with a Role (staffed by "Resource Manager via Authorization")

3. In IMG "Specify Demand types for Resource Planning" = Project Role Demand.

Also, I maintained "Project Profile for Scheduling" (Use Cost Rate, Use Qualification and Resource type = Internal/External Resources)

4. Run RPA:

- in "Resource Overview" I choose suitable resource (it has in cell assigned/available 0:00/8:00)

- in "Demand Overview" I choose suitable project (required capacity = 5,00)

- in "Assignments" I create assignment, in field "Duration" I set "5" and choose "Apply". After that system show 1 error and 2 warnings:

- Error in cProjects; Maximum allowed required capacity was exceeded

- cProject warning; Time was converted from 5,00 HR to 5,00 H - rounding errors are possible

- Required/Planned capacity of Demand does not match

Is anyone can help or may be you have a configuration doc?

Please, help!

Useful answers will be rewarded

PS. Time Unit in IMG "Basic settings" = "H". I change the value to HR, save, again look in this setting there is "H" again!

Thanks and Regards,

Konstantin Melnik

Partly solved.

Main problem I think in time unit.... <h6>But I'm not sure. Now I'm working in another client and there time unit is correct ("HR" instead of "H").</h6>

Another question.

When I make assignment the system says "Assignment generated with warnings":

"Assignment outside demand window for <such resource>".

Where I missed something?

Problem solved fully.

Just set time unit HR and there is no warnings!
