Issue while posting stock

Hi Gurus

I am in MB1C for stock posting, when I am entering materal # and

quantity, getting Error Meassage : Account determination for entry INT

GBB 0001 INV 9300 not possible

Message no. M8 147

Need help : Urgent

Dear Naveen

Go to OBYC, double click GBB in Transaction tab and see whether you have maintained the combination of 001 / INV / 9300 for your G/L account.

Hi Lakshmi,

Your suggestion helped me in overcoming that error , but when I created a new entry for GBB 0001 INV 9300, a new error popped up.

Posting period 002 1998 is not open

Message no. F5 201

Diagnosis

Period 002 of fiscal year 1998 is not open for posting for the variant of posting period 0001.

What should I do to resolve this.

hi ..

go to ob52 and make the to period year as 2008 in 001 vairant there may be 4 - 5 entries then in mmpve close periods ..

u will get positng done

Hi naveen,

Please go through the transaction OMWD there you enter the data related to Valuation area, Company code , Chart of accounts and valuation group, It will solve your problem.

you do tcode OBYC to fix the error. this is actually more a job for the MM consultant.
