hi all,
Can any one say me the difference between Va01 and Va31.
which one is the best one to use.
thanks,
reddy
Dear Narsimha Reddy ,
Transactions are designed for some objectives.
The one mentioned by you are different.
Va01: Will create sales order :general sales cyle.
Va31: will schedule agreements :A sales order Which is the terms and conditions the customer wants the product to be delivered.
Say 10 days 20 items
20 days 30 items.
So Depending upon the requirement Scheduleing agreement types are config.
Just go through the basic sites for the SD q/A

Hi,
I) T.code VA01 ---> is used with sales orders.
Cycle
Sales order--Delivery( picking,packing, PGI)-->Invoice.
( This Scenario can be used with regular orders where customer orders and system checks for available of goods, and so on.....)
VA01 is also used for other scenario such as
Returns
Credit Memo request
Debit memo request
Free deliveriess
Cash orders
rush orders and so on....
II)T.code VA31 ---> is used with scheduling Agreements.
Cycle
Scheduling lines-> Delivery> Billing.
( This scenario can be used, if the customer is requesting particular deliveries on the particular dates).
Kindly Reward points if useful.
