Attachment using RFC >> XI >> HTTP

XI Experts,

We are using XI 7.0, we have multiple SAP systems which are using SAP version 3.1H/4.0B.

We need to find out whether following secnario will be possible to transfer an attachement from SAP(3.1H) system using RFC adapter to XI and XI to third party system using HTTP adapter.

If yes, then how...

If no, then there is any other alternative...

Scenario 1. Send an attachment from SAP System(3.1H) RFC adapter >> XI 7.0 >> HTTP(Asynchoronus call)

Scenario 2. Send information to get an attachment in response SAP System(3.1H) RFC adapter >> XI 7.0 >> HTTP(Synchoronus call)

Any helpful tips will be appreciated and points will be rewarded.

Thanks for your reply.

1. In this Scenario - We need to send an attachment of Sales Order using RFC sender adapter to XI and from XI to Third party system using HTTP adapter, is this possible?

2. In this Scenario - We need to send a Sales Order Number using RFC sender adapter to XI and from XI to Third party system using HTTP adapter and in response, We need to get a Sales Order attachement to XI using HTTP adapter and from XI to SAP using RFC adapter, is this possible?
