Approving patches

Hi experts,

I need to download the paches for my demo system but i am new to the solution manager technology.

Can any body guide me the how can i approve the pathces through solman and down loading process.

Please i need detailed navigation please help me.

Depending on the patches you are referring to, you can find the patches using http://service.sap.com/patches. Or try using SE38 with program rtcctool. This can help in letting you know if the service addons for solution manager, ST-A/PI and ST-PI, are up to date. Just a couple ideas for you.

Hi Ryan,

I know down load patches from service market place ( www.service.sap.com/swdc) but after april 2nd,2007

onward releases should be aprove from solution manager after we can down load from market place.I want to know where we should approve in solution manager.

Please help me.
