HACMP vs ServiceGuard for SAP (IBM vs HP)

We are evaluating IBM power and HP integrity platforms for a new implementation. One of the criteria is clustering for failover. What are the differences between HACMP vs SGeSAP in terms of build-in scripts, setup, manageability, and failover times?

Any other differentiators of the two platforms is also welcome.

Thank you.

hi!

Why not consider Suncluster?

I've worked with several clusters... Trucluster, Serviceguard, MSFT and Suncluster. Suncluster is better than hp serviceguard. much smarter ...

HACMP uses binary only kernel drivers which are not supported by SAP.

See Note 784391 - SAP support terms and 3rd-party Linux kernel drivers
