How to specify that the flex version of a composite app is used?

Hello,

I have create a simple composite app in 7.1 that produces a chart from a data source. This generates both an html and a flex version of the app, but the chart is not supported in html yet. I am trying to place this composite app on a Page in VC 7.1, but it grabs the html version instead of the flex version.

Is there a way to configure VC 7.1 so that the Page uses the flex version of my composite app?

Chris-

In the portal open your Web Dynpro Page and view its properties. Change the Web Dynpro Client property from AUTO to FLEX.

Hi Atul,

Thank you for the reply. When I go into the portal and find the app, there is not a property for the client. There are about 12 properties, and they do not appear to be modifyable. This is deployed in NW CE 7.1 SP3.

Any additional thoughts?

This setting is not on the application. You will first have to create a Page of type Web Dynpro and then change the setting in that page. This way you can have have a page which shows the HTML and another which shows FLEX flavor of the same application.
