how to check the response of http/ftp and update the status of idoc.

Hello,

I have a sceanrio where idoc will be transfered from sap to xi and xi will give a call to http url or it will post data to ftp location.

Now here I need to check the response code of (http request or ftp request ) and update the status of incoming idoc.

Pl can you suggest how to check the response of http/ftp and update the status of idoc.

Sharda,

In the idoc posting to XI, you get the docNum, get that..map the result of the posting back to an aleaud and update the idoc that you can find by the docnum field.
