how to secure SAP* and ddic

Hi Experts,

Please tell me how to protect SAP* and DDIC.

Shell i use entire copy of SAP* and ddic insted of using directly these ids? whats SAP recomendations?

Kindly suggest me some note numbers.

Hi,

-> First change all of the default passwords for SAP*, DDIC and EARLYWATCH user accounts in all clients.

-> Define a new superuser and lock SAP*.

-> Make sure this super admin user accounts in the user group "SUPER". if not in the SUPER group assign. so that they only be modified by administrators who are authorized to change users in the group SUPER.

->Lock SAP*, DDIC and EARLYWATCH user accounts and unlock them when officially required.

Hi and hello,

how do i change the password for the User EARLYWATCH in Client 066??

The usual way by the button "change password" doesn't seem to work..

can anybody help?

Hi Jo,

do you get any errormessages? Sometimes adressinfo of the user has to be maintained first....

I had no issues changing the earlywatch-PW...
