Hi All
I have a problem, we currently have 55 PCs which I need to install SAP GUI on and it will be a nightmare task to try and SAP Sweep and install the SAPGUI on every single server.
So is there an easy way to do this like a deployment utility, so I can install and Patch SAP GUI remotely?
I am sure I have seen one just can't remember too much about it.
An help will get big points!!!
Thanks
Phil
Hi Phil,
why don't you setup an installation server as it comes with the GUI. You may want to check the [Inst. Guide|https://service.sap.com/~sapidb/011000358700000169322007E].
Works for us (350+ installations) like charm - even when applying patches...

Peter

Phil,
Do you guys use SMS? SAPGUI 7.10 has a function to create packages that can be used for distribution through that.
Another way to do this would be through a login script.
Also, with 7.10 you can use scripting to update the various INI files and setup the GUI so it periodically checks against an installation server for updates.
Hope that helps.
