Maker checker concept

Is there maker checker concept on the customer master in SAP? if it is so can anyone tell me from where we can activate this thing?

My client want the maker checker concept on the customer....means that the customer going to be made and it should park until the authorized person is goin to check and realse the customer for further processing.....according to me its not possible coz its a paper work.....but they want to do it on SAP......so its possible or no?

Sorry still not clear.

You mean to say first a customer master will be created by X and only after approval by Y, sales orders should be created by X??

Hi,

check this alternative, first create the customer and put the block for that customer and told the Basis guy give authorisation for one User to remove the block for that tcode, and when the user find the data enterred for that customer is correct then he unblock the customer.
