Seeburger - BIC configured as Module

I'm using Seebuger BIC module in SAP File adapter to convert ANSI 856 to Seeburger XML 856 XSD format. I specified the following parameters

mapping name - See_E2X_ANSIX12_856V4010

destTargetMsg - ORIGINAL_ANSI

destSourceMsg - MainDocument

I see the following error in the Adapter monitor:

Hi!

ISA I15 should be the "Component Element Separator".

I will search for further information, maybe we can solve it together. I think the content of this field has to be specified in the ANSI-to-XML-(1:1)-mapping.

The error message is pretty clear,

"Mandatory, incoming field is empty. Segment:'ISA', Field:'I15'"

It clearly says that in your source message, a mandatory field in the Segment ISA called I15 is empty. So you will have to enter some value for it and your error should hopefully go.

There is no segment called I15 in 856. The message is misleading.

Anyone out there who has used BIC converter as module, please respond if you have any ideas on this error message. I tried several different ASNs and I end up with this message always.

Also, anyone with Seeburger BIC knowledge, please let me know where I can find a list of all maps loaded in the system.

As far as I know this Issue is fixed in Version 1.5 of the Adapter. As a registered customer you can download it from the service area.

You should also get a Seeburger Knowledge Base account, where you can find patches for those issues.

You can request access as a registered SAP customer. The for you need to fill out can be requested at license@seeburger.de.

Bernd / Chris,

We have now resorted to creating our own map. However, 1.5 can be installed on SP13 or SP14. We are on SP12 and it is risky with all other development work we have going.

But 1.5 will be the first thing installed once we get on SP13. I will keep you posted.
