Force to reread WSDL from SOA Destination

Former Member

Hello,

we have created several Destinations for special WebServices linking to their WSDLs.

How can one invalidate the cache of the WSDL-operations listed in VC when searching a specific Destination? They only get updated after a full Portal-Reboot.

Thanks,

Kai

Hi Kai,

Right click the search button on the left, and select "Refresh" from the context menu.

Thanks for the fast reply but this doesnt seem to update the WSDL (its list of operations) itself.

Any hint?

Hi,

you will need to restart the connector service in order to refresh the operation list.

Please see the attached PDF for instructions.

Hi,

There is something strange about the attachment mechanism in this forum. I never seem to get them to work.

Let's try the plain text way -

  • Go to NetWeaver administration http://[server]:[port]/nwa

  • Click on Configuration management -> Infrastructure -> Application resources

  • Under the overview select Start & Stop java EE applications

  • Search for the web service connector service: com.sap.portal.connectors.ws and select it

  • Click the stop button and then the start button.

I will try to upload screenshots later if needed.
