Hai Ajit,

Configure the SLD in the Portal by using the Visual Administrator (C:\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<instno>\j2ee\admin\go.bat)

go to ->Server->Services->SLD Data Supplier-->

In tab HTTP Settings

mention the Hostname of the SLD system(local host),Portnumber and SLDDSUSER and password and click on save.

In the tab CIM Client Generation Settings->

againmention the same Hostname,Portnumber,SLDDSUSER and password and click on save and check whether the CIMClient Test is successful or not by clicking on the CIMClient Test button.

Again click on the 'Assign application roles to user groups' button and also on the 'trigger data transfer to SLD button'

This triggers the data to SLD.

You can check the same in http://<hostname>:portnumber/sld.

Hai,

Dont give the host name, check it by giving the IP address and also dont give FQDN.Dont check the Use HTTPS button.

And Trust Store must be - TrustedCAs.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi,

go to Netweaver Administrator 7.1

There you choose the upper third tab (Deployment ...) There you pass through step 3 to step 9. After that your sld

is configured right. All is configured, sld Data supplier, CImClient connection and so on and all the other rfc stuff.

After that the sld is running (http://<host>:<port>/sld) and the smd is running too (http://<host>:<port>/smd).

But there may be one problem left. If you go to (http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcwdtools/Explorer)

and "Check SLD Connection" there might be a problem.

Even if the test below D:\usr\sap\SM7\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\admin -> server -> services -> sld datas supplier -> "Trigger Data Transfer to sld" (blue flash symbol at the top) works well, there can be a connection error in the CimClient Test.

This error is until now unresolved!!!!

Hi,

if you have a local SLD this corresponds to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/23/b557422d095542e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm -> scenario 3.

Then you have to do these post installation steps:

1. Open a Web browser and go to http:// as the object server.

More information: service.sap.com/sld ® Media Library ® Post-Installation Guide - SLD of SAP NetWeaver 7.0

3. Set up the SLD Bridge.

More information: service.sap.com/sld ® Media Library ® Post-Installation Guide - SLD of SAP NetWeaver 7.0

4. Open the Visual Administrator again and perform the same steps used to configure Scenario 2.

5. Choose the first button at the top of the SLD Data Supplier service with the blue arrow to trigger the data transfer to SLD

Best regards

Hello,

You may use Template Config based on your SAP version (or) use the guides available under "Setting Up System Landscape Directory" in the location based on your SAP version.

Mathan.
