Print Quality Notification

Hello Experts,

My client needs to take 3 prints of quality notification everytime as 1 copy goes to Vendor, 1 copy to Accounts & 1 with IQC.

But even if we select no. of copies more than 1, It prints only 1 copy & every time we need to create new spool request which is unnecessary NVA. I tried one customization in QM.

I want quality notification printing plant wise.

In Customizing - Quality Notifications - Notification Processing - User Specific Print Control - No of copies defined are 1 only.

I tried to keep it Blank or * but it is not accepting.

There is one push button for PM so with that can we assign plant and shop papers.

Hi,

Please try specifying Planning Plant and Number of copies in the customizing specified.

If you specify number of copies as 2, one would be original and second is copy.

Hello Krishna,

Yes, that's correct.

But if you see 'Planning plant' appears only when when we Switch on PM specific fields.

So will this work for QM also.

Hi

This will work for QM Notifications also.

or you can use Print Diversion According to Field Contents

and specify more details for Application Area- Notifications.

Hello Krishna,

I created Print Diversion and assigned to different plants.

But when I go to quality notificaton and try to take print out, it is showing no. of copies field as 1.

Though I've maintained no. of copies as 3 in print diversion for each plant.

I just want to confirm whether this is due to output program assigned to shop paper.
