New Maxdb (7.6.00.18) installation on SuSe SLES 10 sp1.
Trying to write backup to a NFS mount directory, I get the following error :

The strange thing is that the message I get in the database manager when running the Backup Wizard says :
-24988 Sql error [backup_save "COM_BACKUP" DATA RECOVERY]; -903, Host file I/O error, no more devices
Any idea what could go wrong ?
Hi,

Hi Kaushal,
thanks but I do not think this is the problem - I have no messages about Data Volume but it just complains about the backup media? I checked the security settings but they should be OK. Increased the MAXBACKUPDEVS paratmeter from 2 to (read it in some forum on the internet) but this didn't change anything. The weird thing is that it talks about tape, while I clearly define a FILE medium.
Thanks for any other tips
Herman
