Contract price not picked from existing contract

Hello all..We have a contract uploaded into in SRM, when the reqs are coming from ECC some items are picking the price from existing contract for this vendor and converted to PO automatically and some are showing as Zero dollar items in the SC and going to sourcing as per sourcing config (no price). Could you please tell me why some of the items are not able to pick the price from contract...? I want all these items to be created POs automatically by utilizing the contract. SRM 5.0 and extended classic.

Thanks for your reply. The note is not relevent to my problem. I want ECC req items to find the contract automatically and select the price from it and create a PO automatically. At present some of the items from the contract are behaving the way I mentioned and some are not picking the contract price though they pick the contract vendor and endingup in sourcing cockpit.
