difference between order reason and reason for rejection

hi gurus,

can you please tell me the effect or purpose of setting an order reason and reason for rejection in creating cr and dr memo request and cr/dr memo?

hi,

order reason applies to the whole document and you have reason for rejection at the item level.

Considering you wanted to create a credit/debit memo for some parts which are damaged, and you mention an order reason as to why you are actually issuing that credit memo.

But you find a part which is not eligible for credit then you mention a reason for rejection to it.

Order reason - What was the purpose of creating that sales document

Reason for rejection - Why did you reject the order or item.

Eg:

Say u r creating a scrap sales document

so in order reason u can say - scrap sales

and if in case u plan to reject it u can say - Say order incomplete or any important criteria not met
