Dear deepak

You can create a delivery with ONLY one shipping point.

A shipping point can be determined for each order item. How the shipping point is determined depends on three factors:

<> The shipping conditions from the customer master record (Shipping screen)

For example, it might have been agreed with the customer that the goods are to be delivered as soon as possible.

<> The loading group from the material master record (Sales/Plant Data screen)

You could, for example, specify a loading group that defines that the goods must always be loaded with a crane or a forklift.

<> The delivering plant

This plant is determined per order item either from the customer master record or from the material master record. However, you can also enter it manually for each order item

You can only carry out delivery processing for the items in a sales order for which a shipping point has been defined. If different shipping points have been assigned to the various items in a sales order, the deliveries have to be processed for each shipping point.

thanks

Hi,

we create a delivery against a shipping point. In any delivery document you will not find two shipping points infact more than one shipping point for its line items.

now to configure a returns shipping point and one for outward movements is all dependent on how the client wants it. But generally they may prefer to keep one for returns. however we cant generalise it.

Hi,

U hav to remember one point that delivery will be initialized form one shipping point only, there is no chance of 2 shipping points for one delivery.

And shipping point will be determined on the combination of "shipping conditonsloading groupplant" usually shipping conditons are determine from "customer master data" if not there it will be dettermined from the " sales document type" coming to your requirement if you need to change the shipping point, assign the some other shipping condition to the sales document also and remove the value in the "CMD" butit was not the correct solution it just a alternative.

But keep remember in the combination of one customer and one material there is no chance of two shipping points.

Reward me if it helps,

regards,

kishore.
