SAP EP 7.0 with DB2 License cost

Hi Gurus,

One of our clients is trying to implement EP7.0 with DB2 database. Wondering if there is a SEPERATE license cost involved for a database(DB2, Oracle etc) for a SAP EP 7.0 implementation. If so, how much does a DB2 License cost, and the EP7.0 costs? I heard MaxDB is free to implement with EP, and it got me thinking about the other database costs.

cost of any SAP product depends on country and specific customer conditions.

Databases are usually a specific percentage of the price you pay. This is the case for all DB, as they are not owned by SAP, and their vendors didn't intend to give them away for free.
