Enable Cost Center 'Description' display in Shopping Cart

Hi,

Is there any way (OSS Note) by which we can display the Cost Center/WBS element - 'Description' in the Shopping Cart > Cost Assignment > Account Assignment Overview?

We are at SRM3.0 version now.

Hi,

To modify the fields on the Account assignment overview screen,you will have to modify the template SAPLBBP_PDH_ACC_1000_1 of ITS service BBPACCOUNT in trascn SE80.

The best way would be to hide an unwanted field in the table and display the Cost centre description instead since the number of columns which are displayed in the tabular format under the Account assignment overview screen is FIXED.So you need to be very careful while modifying the ITS template if you need to add a new column/field.

Hi Disha,

I agree with you but the fields displayed here at present are minimum and required and hence we can not hide them. All we need to add/pass the value of description in front of CC or WBS element which is available in Search help.

It may not be possible to display the description at header level but if you click on the Details button under Action you can see all the details possible under Account Assignment. In that case there will be plenty of space available in front of each field.

So is there any other way instead of modifying the template we can display the description in overview of Account Assignment?

I am also referring note 871628 but this may not be helpful to resolve the issue.
