Kernal upgrade

Hi all,

I want upgrade Kernal.. actually in PRD system one CI and 6 Application servers is there, How i need to upgrade in all., in CI is enough or i need to individule...

First of all check whether the sapmnt filesystem on CI is shared (NFS mounted) on other application server or not. If it is and sapmnt (Kernel directory) is common on all application server then u have to upgrade the kernel in CI only and if it is not shared (common) then u have to upgrade it on all applications.

You have to upgrade the kernel in all the Instances, If the exe directory is not common ( mounted/shared) .
