Hi!

I have installed SAP Solution Manager 4.0 on Windows as MS Cluster.

After Kernel Upgrade the central instance (disp+work.exe) does not start and stopped after a while.

Hi,

if disp+work failed to startup, please check on the error part in dev_disp / dev_dispatcher (if using java instance),

as well as dev_w0, sapstart.log, sapstartsrv.log, stderr* files

otherwise, please copy and paste, and I will analyse for you.

cheers,

Vincent

Thom,

Check this thread. Are you using a DB control in your start profile? The solution sounds suspicious but you might give it a try. They may have actually changed something else without informing the author.
