Hi forum,

We need to migrate a CRM ABAP-only istance from a stand-alone server to a miicrosoft cluster.

We would like to use a system copy base on backup/restore Oracle 10g Windows 2003 Win32.

Where can I find documentation ?

Is it OK system copy as normal and when it ends implemente chapter 7 (Install MCS) ?

Regards.

Ganimede Dignan.

Yes, completely possible using system copy. We had to self document. We did it based on SQL server but it should be roughly the same procedure.

Not sure why you would want to use system copy for an ABAP only system though. A traditional ABAP type refresh would probably be much faster.

Hi,

Yes, I suppose so.

I'm not sure for CRM but I did that to install R/3 4.7 on MSCS cluster a few years ago.

I think that should the same .... because my CRM is a ABAP only system.

Do you remember the list of steps ?
