We are facing an error while we click on top level navigation in portal...

500 Internal Server Error

please contact your Administration

please can anybody let me know how to remove this error and what can be the reason for it.

Ajay,

500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the web site's server but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.

In most cases there is a problem with compilation of the code that you have moved. Please check the log file for more details of the compilation errors.

Check the defaultTrace of the server. You may have to ask an administrator to do this for you.
