regarding Unit of measure and convertion rate.

please help me,

I query is related to the Quality and material mamnagement.

actually the convertion factor is assigned in the material master is 1300 kgs <=> 1 set.

while doing MIGO i received 903. kgs.

IN the GRN the Qty in SKU: is .695 set.

My quality inspection is activated (100% inspection)

while Usage Decision stock posting i an finding the error

Deficit of 0.4 Kgs in the stock.

Hi

In your thread you have not mentioned what is the base unit of measure.

In QM , only Baseunit of measure will be considered.

As long as material stock is in QM Module it refers base unit of measure . System will forget all the alternate units of measures.

Hello Praveen,

as far as I can see the cause is the fact that you are using a conversion in this specific case 0.695 is not the same as 0.69461538... the calculated result. Due to this rounding error the value is not identical, thus you have a deficit of material.

In this case you would either need to maintain the UoM in QM in the same as the GR or you would have to ensure that the calculated values correspond with values in GR.
