Hi SolMan community,
i'm starting to dive into SolMan. One of my first steps was to setup a "test" client in the system but was surprised to see my projects that i've created in another client in this client, as well although i made a copy from client 001.
Does this mean, that you can use only one client in SolMan? Is any documantation about this available?
Thanks for you help,
Wilhelm
Hi Wilhelm,
Projects, Solutions, Systems, System Monitoring, ... is client independent.
A project created in one client will be visible in all clients.
All CRM Based scenarios (Service Desk, Change Request Management) provide the possibility to use separate clients
To test functionality without leaving test data in a system, it's required to use a development/test system.
Best regards,
Ruediger

Hi Rüdiger,
thanks for the precise answer. It helps me a lot.
Just for interest. Why are these functionalities not client dependent. Do you have any documentation about this phenomen?
Thanks,
Wilhelm

You can have more than one client in Solman .. eg: one client for monitoring/EWA another client for CUA ( if you are configuring ) etc ...
Thanks
