Hi,
I am trying the scenario like HTTP-XI-IDOC & File-XI-IDOC.
In both cases i am getting the Error "Unable to convert the sender service to ALE logical system".Plz tell me how to resolve this problem.I am fighting with this bug since a day.
Note:-I have entered logical system name in Adapter specific identifiers and compared with magic button. It's OK.No Error.I have created a port using IDX1 and to load meta data using IDX2.No Problem.
Plz tell me if anybody knows apart from the above mentioned.
Sure more than expectation points will be awarded.Highly appreciated.
Hi Sridhar,
with what ever description you have provided, I assume your problem is with "Party"
follow these 3 ADDITIONAL steps, see if you get it solved. you will do all the regular steps (like Rec Detmn, Int Det)with your party. But to overcome your issue you need to create something in "Service without party"
In ID -> In "service without party" -> In "Business Service"
1) Create a "Dummy Service" (say Z_xyz), go to adapter specific identifiers , give LS name (say xyz).
2) Now do a header mapping in your Receiver Agreement for "Sender Service" (select your Dummy service), also do header mapping for the "party" (just put a space " " hardcode). This ensures that there is no party, but only a service (as LS).
In your Backend SAP R/3
3) Create a Partner profile, exactly with the same name as your LS given in ID and give appropriate IDOC types and other settings.
Hope this fixes your issue.
Regards
Vishnu

Hi Sridhar,
Try taking a deeper view of the problem now.Logical system name you have given is not being recognised by the XI system
1.Are you using a party or service without party business ???.For Party different work around must be used.
2.If it is a Business system, the logical system name mentioned in the SLD will do.If its a business service,as told the adapter sepcific identitifiers must help.
3.Check the port and the RFC destination being used to connect to the R/3 sytem.you can as well test the connection seperately from SM59.
4.Check the logical system name spelling mentioned in bd54(It might sound silly....but I know many cases where people sat for hours debugging the problem due to minor spell checks!!!)
Hope you are able to close this thread ASAP..:)
Cheers
Rashmi
Hi rashmi,
Tnx for ur info.
I have checked step by step what ever u mentioned.
1)& 2)i am using business system without party.
3)checked the RFC destinations created in XI and r/3.working fine and am able to log-in remotely by given credentils. No Problem.
4)checked BD54/SALE.Logical sytem name spelled correctly and entered in SLD.
Finally Nope.
Plz let me know if any concerns.......

Hi Sridhar,
can you check the SXMB_MONI trace and (Inbound MSG) see what is the value for the below
<SAP:Sender>
<SAP:Service>
try to co-relate where it comes from. This has to be accepted by XI as Logical system (and for succesful posting in SAP, it has to be in partner profiles)
Hope this helps

Vishnu
Hi vishnu,
<SAP:TimeSent>2005-10-21T08:01:55Z</SAP:TimeSent>
- <SAP:Sender>
<SAP:Service>BS_PSFT</SAP:Service>
<SAP:Interface namespace="http://psft.com">MI_PSFT</SAP:Interface>
</SAP:Sender>
I am trying the scenario like HTTP/File-XI-IDOC
my third party business service is BS_PSFT.What ever i have created iam able to see in SXMB_MONI.
I have created partner profiles in both system i.e in XI and R/3.Logical systems are also created in both.
Plz let me know if any concerns which i have to do
Tnx
Raju
Hi Sridhar,
Now can you follow the 3 steps which I have mentioned earlier. Your scenario will work.
Dont disturb your configuration, but do the 3 steps additionally, and for LS name use "BS_PSFT" (wherever i have mentioned xyz). Now it is no more 3 steps, because you have already created a partner profile

I have checked manually.it's correct. If u enter the logical sytem name in Adapter specific identifiers and press the comparison button then it will show automatically,if difference exists.so Nope.I have mentioned clearly in my message as Note what ever i did..
Plz tell me other issues if any boy knows apart from this.......
Tnx in advance
Sridhar
