About Proposed Delivery Dates in The Sales Order

Hello Gurus!!

How does the systme propose the delivery dates in the order?

What does it consider while proposing the delivery dates where i have not maintained any RLT.

For Example: I have a PO for 10 qty, I have 5 qty available in the FG stock.

What would be the role of MRP in proposing the delivery dates?

Thanks & Regards

Nitin.

Hi,

The system proposes the delivery dates based on the Availability Check and TOR configurations.

If you have not set the RLT, then the system will propose the dates based on the MRP1/MRP2 Purchasing settings from the Material Master.

Award points if useful.

Hi,

The delivery date can be the date requested by the customer, or (if the requested date cannot be met).

Earliest date proposed by the system after automatic availability checks and delivery scheduling, which means the stock availability and the position to service the customer on the given date.

If there are multiple schedule line items for a sale order, then the system proposes the earliest delivery date in the item.
